The
Forensic Science Laboratory, Haryana has Ten Divisions
and Two Sections to undertake a wide range of
examinations on different kinds of crime exhibits.
The Forensic Science Laboratory, Haryana is organized
into Divisions and Section as given below :-
This
division provides scientific aid to the investigating
agencies at the scene of occurrence. The mobile
forensic units have been stationed at all the
district headquarters to provide guidance to the
investigating agencies in examining the scene
of crime and collection of evidence at the scene
of occurrence.
This
section helps in retrieval and processing of information,
collection, compilation and analysis of statistical
data of scientific nature from various sources.
This section also helps in managing a library
in which at present has 5745 books and subscribes
to 06 Indian and Foreign journals. It also helps
in preparation of charts and other display material
for public and police personnel.
This section
undertakes the chemical analysis of Narcotics
and Drugs (NDPS Act) etc.
This
section renders help to all the divisions/sections
in providing photographic evidence of scene of
crime, case exhibits etc.
