  The Forensic Science Laboratory, Haryana has Ten Divisions and Two Sections to undertake a wide range of examinations on different kinds of crime exhibits. The Forensic Science Laboratory, Haryana is organized into Divisions and Section as given below :-  
 
 
 
  This division has facilities for the examination of a variety of firearms & cartridges to ascertain their make, model, working condition, and caliber to establish a possible link to the firearm and crime, explosives and reconstruction of scene of crime in the pertinent cases in order to help the investigating agencies.  
Ballistics
 

 
Biology
  The examination of biological fluids, skeletal remnants, fabrics, hair, seeds, maggots, vegetable fibres, wood etc. is undertaken by this division. Besides, it also helps out the investigating agencies in crime cases involving rapes and murders on the spot.  
                    Biology Lab

 
  The facilities for grouping of blood/semen/saliva and other body fluids are available in this division.

Chemistry
 

Facilities for carrying out the chemical analysis of viscera, drugs, poisons, alcohol, petroleum products, remnants of accelerants in arson cases and dyes in bribery cases, corrosive acids/bases, detergents, nicotine in tobacco products etc. are available in this division.
