Forensic
Science Laboratory Haryana was established at Rohtak in
the year 1973 and later shifted to Madhuban (Karnal) in
1976. It was established with a motive to provide prompt
and dependable scientific services in the administration
of criminal justice delivery system in the State of Haryana.
It comprises of Ten divisions namely Chemistry, Physics,
Biology, Serology, Ballistics, Documents, Narcotics, DNA,
Lie- Detection and General Scene of Crime Division and two
sections- Photo & Information. Scene of Crime vehicles
are stationed at all the Twenty district headquarters to
provide on the spot and comprehensive services to the Investigating
agencies through out the state.
